Lynn Camp Wildcat Senior Trevor Lawson has agreed to take his football skills to the University of the Cumberlands for the 2018 football season. Lawson, a 2017-18 All-SEKC Lineman of the Year, chose the Patriots over several other colleges. Cumberland sported a 6-4 record in 2017.

Trevor played six seasons for the Wildcats and was named Team Captain during his senior year and was named to the All-District Team. Lawson also received All-State Honorable Mention during his final season.

Lynn Camp Head Coach Allen Harris said that Lawson had dedicated himself to becoming a football player and was excited to see him play for the Patriots. “Trevor has done this because of his determination. The coaching staff here provided guidance and we have watched him take the step from a boy to a man over his career as a Wildcat.”
