BHS Crowns 2017-18 Basketball Royalty: Al-Darraji Named Senior Queen

2017-18 Basketball Homecoming Queen

Huda Al-Darraji, 2017-18 Basketball Senior Homecoming Queen. Huda is the daughter of Linda Al-Darraji. She is a member of the Volleyball Team, Tennis Team, Archery Team, Cross Country, Future Business Leaders of America, Service Club, and Beta Club, just to name a few. Huda describes herself as determined, ambitious, and busy. Huda loves to hang out with her friends and family. Her future plans are to double major in business and interior design at the University of Kentucky.

 

2017-18 Basketball Sweetheart

Jeanna Owens was crowned 2017-18 Basketball Sweetheart. Jenna is the daughter of Todd and Renia Owens. Jenna describes herself as fun, outgoing, and dependable. Jenna is a member of the cheerleading team and FCCLA. Her hobbies include spending time with friends, baking, and cheering on her tigers. Jenna’s future plans are to attend cosmetology school.

 

2017-18 Miss Congeniality 

Miss Emily Bradshaw, 2017-18 Miss Congeniality  Emily is the daughter of Joe and Robyn Bradshaw. She describes herself as kind-hearted, patient, and loyal. She is a member of the BHS Varsity Dance Team and FCCLA. Emily’s hobbies include dancing and babysitting. In the future, Emily plans to go to Union College to get a bachelor’s degree in nursing and go on to become a nurse practitioner.

 

2017-18 Junior Princess

Miss Allison Paige Bargo, 2017-18 Junior Princess. Allison is the daughter of Jake and Beth Knuckles. Allison is a member of the beta club and science Olympiad. Allison’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, shopping, and reading. Her future plans is to become a psychiatrist. Allison’s escort tonight is Derek Hatfield.

 

2017-18 Sophomore Princess

OMiss Taylor Nicole Hampton, 2017-18 Sophomore Princess. Taylor is the daughter of Kandi Baker and the late Doug Hampton. Taylor is a member of the high school dance team, beta club, science olympiad, and first priority. She would describe herself as outgoing, passionate, and ambitious. After high school, she plans to continue dancing, attend Art school, and eventually work at Disney World. She is being escorted by Dylan Bingham.

 

2017-18 Freshman Princess

Lily-Kate Hubbs, 2017-18 Freshman Princess. Lily-Kate is the daughter of Gary and Marsha Hubbs. She is a member of the Varsity cheer team, Student Council, Beta club, FPS team, Choir, Academic team, and the varsity swim team. She describes herself as positive, caring, and friendly. Her hobbies include traveling, creative writing, watching netflix, and cheering on her favorite team, the BHS Tigers! In the future she plans to become a physician specializing in pediatric neurology.

The Senior Queen along with the Junior, Sophomore and Freshman Princesses were selected by the respective class body. The Senior Basketball Sweetheart was selected by the Varsity Basketball team while Miss Congeniality was selected by the homecoming court.
